Background

Dennis studied Chemistry at the Memorial University of Newfoundland in St.John’s, Canada, and subsequently got his PhD from the Boston Collage in the group of Prof. Amir H. Hoveyda. In 2007, he joined the group of Prof. Donald Hilvert at the ETH Zurich as a Marie-Curie fellow. He began his independent work at the University of Basel in 2010 as a Tenure-Track Assistant Professor and was promoted to Associate Professor in 2016.
