Welcome to our new group members

Our research group has grown again, by three more people

We welcome three new people to our research group.

Aramis Keller, who did his bachelor and master studies at our department, but did his Master's Thesis in the biomedical department instead in the group of Prof. Wymann. He will work on a specific chemical protein silencing project that involves finding novel small molecule binders for a DNA repair protein.

Simona Capomolla, who originally did an apprenticeship at F. Hoffmann-La Roche AG as a chemical lab technician and got her Bachelor degree from the FHNW in Molecular Life Sciences. She then switched to our department for her master studies where she already stayed in our group for a Wahlpraktikum. She did her Master's Thesis in inorganic chemistry in the group of Prof. Constable and Prof. Housecroft. She too will work on a chemical protein silencing project and specifically focus on SAR studies around a covalent small molecule inhibitor.

Irina Zhirkina, who joined us from Russia where she did her master studies. She will work on a chemical protein silencing project as well during her PhD with us!
