The group trip of 2026 organized by Chiara and Samapika awakened unknown artistic skills inside our group

The group trip of 2026 started close to Bahnhof SBB at the facilities of the Paint it Easy studio. After having previously voted on on the painting called ‘The Sky is the Limit’, we started transferring the outline of the picture onto the empty canvas with carbon paper (to make a carbon copy - that's where CC comes from!). The studio already prepared the colours for us, so we could directly start after having gotten some basic instructions (Start with light colours, how to blend, …). After everyone got started, we switched seats and continued on someone else's painting! After 3 rounds, we put the individual canvases together and some very talented people collaborated to improve the transitions. Some discussions on our background came up, and after mentioning that our colours are usually fluorescent, the people from the studio suggested that we could also use fluorescent colours!

After a short break, we continued with 2 more rounds and finished the paintings, adding here and there some fluorescent colours. The proud result can be seen in the pictures above.

In the end, and with some very busy people already leaving to write their thesis or to visit some lectures, we changed to Münchenstein and went to the Forsthaus where we had some beers and delicious food prepared by Chiara and Sampika.
